I'm sure that there were many more murders in 1905 that went unreported, also the population is a lot bigger nowadays , so the amount of murders is likely to incease due to there being more people and as life expectancy was only 47 years there would have been less time to get murdered.
  Between which years were the 20 million or so local Indians wiped out?
If you managed to send an e-mail with-in a matter of seconds today what will you expect to happen in a hundred years?Do you think it may arrive a few hours before you send it?
