>We believe that our first son regularly saw something that spooked him (no
it
>wasn't me Phillips!)

I find that hard to believe (and so do Social Services) :op

I have had a few ghostly/unexplainable experiences . . some may be drug
related though . .

One that wasn't follows:

A group of us had decided to visit Temple Bar (not the area in London, the
actual bar itself . . which at the time was situated in Enfield:
http://www.cityoflondon.gov.uk/Corporation/leisure_heritage/architectural_he
ritage/Buildingswithinthecity/temple_bar.htm) the structure wasn't what you
see it as these days (this must've been near enough 20 years ago now) but
was a rather decrepit and sad thing standing in the middle of the woods and
favoured by the local nutters/covens/Satanists etc due to it's rather bloody
history

Anyway . . during that day two of the people who were due to go had car
crashes which should've been an omen that things would not go well . .

We all met up in the pub, piled into what cars we had left and headed off
(it was getting dark by now) . . . when we go there we all made our way
along the path to the Bar, all the way along my friend Steve was grabbing
twigs/leaves etc and camouflaging himself (but only along his left hand side
we found out later) . . we hung around the monument for a while, some of the
braver souls climbed it (not me, it looked bloody unsafe) and after a while
we decided to make our way back. Steve was 50 yards or so ahead of the main
group when he heard a sound coming from the other side of a high wire mesh
fence that ran alongside the path we were following (on his left), he
stopped and waved at the rest of us to stop also . . unfortunately he had
camouflaged himself so we couldn't see him . . I guess the best way I can
describe the sound we heard was as if a LARGE dog was running through the
undergrowth on the other side of the fence and getting closer . . suddenly
there was a crash as whatever it was hit the fence, 5 or 6 torches were
pointed at the point immediately but nothing could be seen . . then the
fence started to bend . . . .

At that point curiosity lost out to sheer panic and we all legged it back up
the path towards the cars . . I have never run so fast in my life (and being
a 20+ a day smoker probably never will) it felt like we were running through
treacle though . .

Once back at the cars a few people wouldn't get in them until they had
searched underneath with torches (what they were looking for I have no idea)

The day after we went back (in daylight) and tried to hang from the fence to
pull it down to the extent we had seen it bend the night before . . 5 of us
hung from it but it wouldn't budge an inch . .

Mass hysteria ?

Hallucination ?

Something created by whatever had been going on down there ?

Fuck knows . .
