Hello folks, the best comes come in a Jiffy, or so they say !!! Indeed, my life was brightened further a few days ago when a tidy little package containing a CD of Red Beat "The Missing Album" arrived. For gawd's sake, if you have a spare bob or two (and I realise demands are high at the present time) do yerself a favour and go purchase one. 

Never even realised myself the BBC session was broadcast on John Peel as early as February 1980 - I'd taped it myself off Radio One on at least 3 occasions & the first of those must have been "late" 1980 so it's fair to say that session must have been aired at half a dozen times. Also contained are the tracks from the MD4.40 debut 12" plus the single tracks Survival and Dream plus a previously unreleased track called Shadow Boxing. Funnily enough, I remember suggesting to Colesy a while back that maybe he considers putting out a CD with the Red Beat and Ski Patrol stuff on. Anyway, definitely one that gonna be on my CD player for some time. Cheers.
