Barb
Maybe you were the girl who wanted to get in front of me, saying "can I get
in front of you, that's my friend there".
I answered with "no, that's my son in front of me".
She then insisted - "no, you don't understand, that's my mate".
I always find it incedible that people can justify their reasons for getting
in front of other people and not think of the other people's reasons for not
wanting it to happen.
Sorry, but I got fed up with the amount of people who just barged in front
of me - especially 7 foot tall blokes.
I must be getting old!!
Stepping down off my soapbox right now and waiting for the abuse to come in.

Apart from the above it was a top night of music - which reminded me of my
only other Joke gig back in 1981 or thereabouts.

Regards

Rob Martin

Had a wicked time on both nights. My ears are still
ringing. Went to the Goldhawk on Thursday and gave my
best "hello I don't know anyone smile" and got
blanked several times so drank up and headed for the
gig. Met several fun folks there, on the subway and
at our hotel, even got paid a very nice compliment by
a Belgium guy (forget his name but he said he wasn't a
Gatherer). Got soaked with beer (both nights),
squished in the mosh on Thursday but found excellent
position at the front barrier on Friday so at least
Katie could see (she's not as tall as me).

I have lots of bruises, I'm too old for this but will
gladly continue to do so whenever KJ play. Hopefully
say hello to some of you at Cheltenham, I shall have
to be forceful but it's not in my nature. Maybe you
just didn't like the look of us! Ha
