[kj] last 2 nights

I got there too late for the Goldhawk Tavern and was also up in the
'knitting circle' for both nights, so I didnt get to meet up with any
gatherers. I personally enjoyed thursday night more, mainly cos I had
a much better view and the other folks around me were singing and
dancing as enthusiastically as I was, whereas on the friday everywhere
I went people were shouting loudly at each other all the time which
was a bit annoying. And some bloke dropped his pint right behind me
and soaked my trousers with beer.  Absolutely amazing set though.

I did see a rather strange sight on the friday. I was leaning on the
railing at the back of the level 1 seating area, and sitting several
rows in front of me were 3 elderly women. They looked to me like they
were certainly into their 60's, complete with floral evening dresses
and bouffant hair, and they were merrily clapping along to the music
in the way that old ladies clap along to, well old lady music! It
struck me as somewhat bizzare.

One advantage of being up in the gods, instead of in the thick of the
action like I usually am, is that today my ears arnt screaming at me,
and Im not covered in bruises. Still got a cracking hangover though.
