Didn't Metallica get a decent sized group of its fans (317000+) banned
from Napster a few years ago. Perhaps alienating a large chunk of your
fan base is not a sign of the smartest group of musicians going.

heard a story the other day about metallica going to fiji to commune
with the whales. so they brought a tape of their music - went out on the
boat, sailed up to the whales, said their hello's then dropped in a
water speaker to share their music with the whales....how did the whales
respond? right - the whales bolted the fuck outta there!

are metallica so malicious that their intension were to scare/torture
the whales like the US navy does with their low frequency blast
experiments? or are they just stupid?

A nice try, but ultimately crap. Lars couldn't replicate Big Paul's
tribal battery, so opted instead for usual high-hat-reliant standard
metal beat.
