Then you must hate the tinny mid 80s ones, and KJ 2003 which appeared to be bassless. And Firedances, that's got terrible bass, or lack of it.
It's probably a good thing we can't hear any bass on Outside the Gate, as that'll be terrible as well.
I can't hear anything wrong with Extremities.

What, and the songs on extremities aren't long? The drums might as well be cardboard boxes, and the album has absolutely no gravity!

Democracy is badly produced because the songs are too long, the guitar sounds are mushy going in. No amount of mixing can polish those turds! The drums are lathargic and the bass is lazy.
The producer is there to get the best performances and to suggest changes, edits etc. I don't think that was done on Democracy.
