The many varied opinions... I thought the Dawn remake was ok as a standalone
film,
but I thought 28 Days was a waste of money!

Also, i hate to admit it, but both the Texas Chainsaw

    idea of redoing classic movies

I thought the "Dead" remake was ok, but the original is better and very
very different (slapstick gore as opposed to traditional horror). The
"Texas" remake bored me silly, and nobody seemed to like it. And I have to
admit "28 Days Later" (which seemed to be a big influence on the "Dead"
remake) scared the shit out of me.
