Oh my god that reminds me of when I bought Ian Dury’s ‘New Boots and
Panties’ and put it on for the first time while the family were sitting
down for the evening meal together. All of a sudden its
“ARSEHOLES,BASTARDS, FUCKING CUNTS AND PRICKS” at full blast. Sweet Gene
Vincent? My parents poor things were shocked, they had never known
anything like it. Little did they know what lay ahead.

I remember when I first got Carss's "Feeding of the 5,000" and not
realising that the first track "Asylum" had been banned or something,
but all one got silence. I had my father check it out and he being a
sensible man decided to play the next track, I having turned the volume
up from the previous silent track and BOOM house full of "Do they owe
us a living" at full volume! Me auld lad was none to happy, but made me
smile at the time, was a favourite album for years.
