[kj] BTATS symbol - again

I used to play that game but it never worked for us. Messed about with
Ouji boards a bit, too, but I think that could just have been our
subconscious minds. My mind is open, and I agree that sometimes really
weird things happen, but I am sceptical too, as there is a lot of
wishful thinking. It is connected to people's religious impulses. A lot
of people want to believe in something out of the ordinary, as it makes
life seem more special and worthwhile. You do have to be careful because
there is a lot of crap out there. Take for instance 'The Da Vinci Code'.
That was a clever ruse. Write a fictional book, with just enough
reference to reality and historical fact, so that people think they are
cleverly reading between the lines, and that what you are saying about
secret societies is true, and that you are cleverly exposing the truth
by thinly veiling it as fiction so that you can expose the secrets
without being sued or getting in trouble. When in fact the opposite is
true; You ARE writing fiction, just as you said and noone can sue you
for misleading them because you always said it was fiction anyway.

I'm not saying weird coincidences don't happen, cos they do, but you
have to be careful not to make assumptions.

surely this is a contradiction? If - without knowing what the story
was you can already say it can be explained, then you cant have an
open mind. Sometimes explanations are not needed. Silence is golden

not through intellectual analysis or introspective dissection..."
