[kj] ot - land of the free

Peter, even by your standards this is the biggest load of shite ive
read.

At the start you are talking about America who have a different set of
rules to what you are used to. They are citizens and not subjects like
us in the good old uk. The US listers can tell you more about what their
1st etc amendments mean than I can.

In referencing of majorities, there is no proportional representation
and so the comment is nonsensical. In the case of Bush, the vast
majority of voters voted against him and only the Florida farce allowed
him into office.

" If I'm trying to get somewhere,I don't want demonstrations blocking my
path." Where does one persons freedom start and another end? I heard a
great quote in California concerning smoking in public places. When
asked about the freedom of smokers to smoke, the waitress said that
their freedom stopped at her nose. But if Peter doesn't want
demonstrations because they get in his way how long before the principle
leads to not having gigs because the noise offends someone?

You did nt have a permit to demonstrate,You broke the law. You got
arrested.
200 people walking together in ones and two's..................yeah
right.
You went for an illegal protest,You went for a riot,You got
arrested,Then you start weeping about human rights.
If You break laws ,You get in trouble,It's that simple.
If I'm trying to get somewhere,I don't want demonstrations blocking my
path.
People vote for what they want,If you don't like what the majority
wants,Bad
luck.
