There were about 60 people there in this pub thingie, most of them dancing 
to really crappy Balkan pop music. Now, the girl who was celebrating her 
birthday sent the DJ home around 1am and slapped on D&RS (i have spent 
years turning her into a good Killing Joke fan) and cranked the bastard as 
loud as it went.

We were a whole three people enjoying it. Some tried to dance to it but 
gave up. It was good clean fun.

Simen from Record Records (stupid name but awesome shop) in Skopje keeps 
his Killing Joke CD's under the counter. He doesn't really want to sell 
them. Some of the kids from Siniac, a local metal band, came by and i made 
Simen put on The Wait just to educate the kids that Metallica didn't write 
it. Funny playing Killing Joke to black metal kids, they actually ended up 
liking it. I'm good.

Oh, and the whole neighbourhood could hear Are You Receiving, one guy 
passing by and stopping to ask who we were playing. Simen told me that if 
they would ever come to Skopje he could easily pull 400 people for a gig 
there, plus he has a nice apartment just to house bands that he book gigs 
with. If you are ever in Skopje, go to his record store downtown, he 
always has time for a music talk and there's a beer store right next to it 
so you have no excuse not to go there.
