I managed to catch 999 at a 125 capacity pub venue (The Rifleman in 
Hounslow) in early 2003 and yes, it was a great set. Plus I've never
seen so 
many empties piled up at the bar afterwards. Mind you, the place was 
absolutely packed with shaven headed & beer gutted 40 year old herberts
so 
it's hardly surprising !

On the strength of that gig, I went online & bought "999 - The Punk
Singles 
1977-1980" CD compilation from Captain Oi (AHOY CD 176). Well worth a go
