Do you mean recorded on record, or video?
He also played it in the next video shown. It turned out to be a Johnny Marr
1/2 hour interview on VH1. I saw two Gretsches there, but definitely saw the
Golden Harp in at least 2 vids.
He went on to say that guitar-wise, at the time of the smiths, he was pretty
much "top in a class of one." Said no one else was doing what he was doing,
that 'guitar-songs' and 'guitar-records' had gone away, to paraphrase.
What about KJ, what about Geordie...
and Marr's playing the f-in' *295?!* Ooh the irony.
What horseshit.
Anyway..

just in that video most likely, never
seen footage of him playing one
otherwise.

he played the es335 or gretsch country
gent most of the time.

rarely has the es295 been recorded it
seems. but it is obvious when you hear
one. other than geordie's, the edge used
one on "desire" and it sounds obvious
very ringing on the verses and stinging
on the solo. also the sun sessions of
elvis scotty and bill is another using
the harp. johnny A used one some but i
haven't listened to him to know on what.
