[kj] ot - damned christmas lights

Besides the obvious that Christmas is obviously a Christian celebration
and that the church put it on top of pagan celebrations in order to
'convert' people as they did with so many other traditions, I can sought
of understand why some in Cambridge are a bit miffed with the Damned
turning on the lights. While they may not fit into the morality clique,
they are at best nowadays a pub band and only thankfully to the
publicity do many now know who they are!

 

Now someone off the X Factor might have been better known in Cambridge
and more appropriate for the modern commercialisation of the festivity ;
)

i dont see what the big deal is,i mean,its the churches that try and
force their beliefs down everyones throats,now theyre saying The Damned
can't have their own opinions.religion is probably the worst thing
society ever thought of
