I could think of at least 10 other bands who deserve even half of what U2 get. 

The Chameleons. 'Strange Times' just never *happened* for them - it's my 
favourite, so inevitably I'm biased ;) 

I was only wondering the other day, what *is* it that makes a band successful?? Mass appeal? Lowest Common Denominator music? But fashions change & there has to be a core following, so there must be some *real* appeal in there somewhere. Maybe.
