Never liked them in the first place, probably down to when they would hang
around certain pubs in the Kings rd trying to be near the football lads of a
dangerous persuasion then be too snobby to take you on because they were
[trying to be] famous. Very UNLIKE the joke.

I dare say they grew up but I never stopped to take a look. Don't think
there was anything earth shattering about their 'art'

As for the argument about words and whether participation on the list should
occur, the use of smilies surely lets people know if you are 'aving a larf.
When they are not there people will read it to their interpretation. I see
the humour Peter I think, I can see the tongue in cheek, but maybe I'm
wrong. However a simple universal code allows others into it if its there,
otherwise you can be surprised when you get a reaction from the agitation!

Heres a beginners guide:

Smileys. The basic smiley is :-) (try tilting your head to the left) though
many people have begun to use :^) This expresses happiness or indicates that
something was "just a joke". There are many variations from the wink ;-)
through sadness :-( and tears :'-( and even left-handed smileys (-: to the
down-right bizarre such as (^8@ which is very handy if your a left-handed
happy person wearing glasses and a turban!

; )

Doubt it. Last time I saw them they were shit (sorry if that lowers the tone
:-) ). Spent the whole time at the bar talking Joke stuff.
