J.G. Bennett studied with Gurdjieff. He talks about a time when Crowley paid
a visit, and explains that he felt that he was in the presence of two
extremely powerful magicians - one white (Gurdjieff), and one black
(Crowley). Crowley was made welcome until at some point Gurdjieff told
Crowley to go away and never come back. Clearly, he recognised that which
was unclean in Crowley and didn't want him near his students any more.

As Jaz himself said at one of his talks, Crowley was a very dubious
  character.

And by the way, reading The Book of the Law might not be a great idea.

Aha is quite special in parts however - if you are mystically inclined.

  Si
