... tonight for the first time since the (seventh and) last Killing Joke gig 
there on 23rd November 1986, in support of BTATS (with the Guana Batz and 
Red Lorry Yellow Lorry as support) ... every new song by the Doves was 
pretty cool (and much better than their second album "The Last Broadcast") 
but before you clamour for a return to the Palais please KIV that a 440ml 
can of Stella or XXXX was £3 or an outrageous £4 for a draught pint of 
Heineken !!! A very big ouch !

Many thanks for all the kind words so far regarding my recent news ... very 
early days of course ... hope to catch up with as many of you as poss in due 
course ... got NMA on Friday at the Astoria and Muse on Sunday ... and will 
hopefully keep folks posted via the email ... cheers you lot !
