=3E over on my ankle=2E Both ankles have been weak =

=3E since childhood=2E  There was a loud crack a =

=3E sharp pain and I fell over=2E

=3E I moved my leg but my left foot just =

=3E flopped=2E It sat there like a wet rag as I =

=3E was consumed by pain like you never knew =

=3E existed=2E An ambulance was called and within =

=3E 10 minutes I was on my way to Oxford=27s John =

=3E Radcliffe hospital where they confirm two =

=3E breaks and a dislocation! Deep joy! The =

=3E drugs they gave me though we superb! I lost =

=3E the pain and developed a deep deep voice =

=3E brought on by the gas and air=2E I was pissed =

=3E out of my head on gas and air and morphine =

=3E and began doing Barry White impressions=2C =

=3E laughing hysterically=2C halucentating and =

=3E then telling everyone I met that I =

=3E recognised them=2E All this time my wife was =

=3E shushing me and aplogising=2E It only got =

=3E serious when they pulled my leg back into =

=3E place=2E Watching your leg perform such stunts =

=3E is rather sobering and no amount of drugs =

=3E can hide the pain!=2E
=3E I then had to wait 7 days for the swelling =

=3E to go down so that they could operate=2E I =

=3E know have a 5 inch metal plate in one of the =

=3E bones and ten nice shiney screws! I shall be =

=3E bleeping airport security machines for evermore!

=3E I chose a nice bright pink cast just to piss =

=3E my kids off and am now hobbling everywhere =

=3E on crutches and getting as much sympathy as =

=3E possible=2E
=3E I have to say that the health care I =

=3E received and all my fellow inmates too was =

=3E absolutely first class=2E This is my first =

=3E real experience of the NHS and I am very =

=3E impressed=2E These folks get a great deal of =

=3E criticism=2C but they got a new fan here!
