THIS JUST IN:

Apparently The New Deal are a Canadian eletronic music/club/dance band. This
leads me to believe, possibly, that as opposed to being the showcase's
"headliners," they merely take over when the live bands (like the Joke and
My Morning Jack-off) are done. I hope, at least.
