OK, not only did I get shafted by an ebay tout for Camden (£151 the pair, I ask you!) but I've now got tickets for Glasgow (my fecking home, and my 41st birthday! - I tell you, somebody is having a laugh!) and Manchester and, salt on the wound, the Astoria on 11th. I would be suicidal were it not for the fact that you'll soon be getting mails from fools who circle 9 ways - in NYC (duck, Alex!)
Anyone want the tickets, or should I just frame them?

Well this is a long shot here. I know someone who is trying to play the
opening slot here in Detroit. The venue organizer said that they cannot
have anyone else because there is already a touring "national" act (AMEN,
don't they suck, waht is with KJ dragging crappy opening bands around with
them on these last two tours). So frommy understanding because it si a
ClearChannel tour no one else can be booked. Is there any way around this?
