The Jabez Clegg is the nicest nearby, but the uni bar itself is probably 
cheaper. There's a few trendy looking bars opposite which I've never been 
in. After the show, Big Hands is always worth a visit for late-night 
drinking.

I'll be there with a mate from Chester but I don't know any pubs near the 
venue to meet up for a few pre-gig shots. Any ideas? We were going to get 
the train but you've put me off now with all that talk of sleeping on train 
platforms (too old for that shit). Last time I had to do that was after the 
Hyde Park lecture back in 199?

So if anyone in the know has a pub in mind - I'll be there!
