must start off by stating that technically, from the musicians and the =
production, so far this record is nothing short of flawless =
but................
ok:=20
loose cannon - very well executed rhythmically, menacing even,,,, yet =
rather unimaginative until the little bridge bit gives it a whole other =
feeling, which was very very nice but not quite enough to save it. =
although with some cornrows, "vibe magazine" style scowl and strut, it =
could be a hit? not!=20
td&rs - sucks gooey donkey knob until the chorus, which is monstrous =
verging on tremendous. still not quite
asteroid - kinda fun, once. this is filler, plain and simple. would be =
the best tune on a ministry album but considering it is killing joke =
this is pure crap. absolute toss
seeing red - a really good tune! exciting, with energy, vitality and a =
great bridge via extremties, yet a total fuck off for the blink 182 type =
guitar tone on the verse and an ending that goes flat. (damn)=20
implant - is a whole song ..it resolves and sounds like a band who =
worked together to come up with something as opposed to professionals =
doing their job very well. =20
zennon - wow ! fucking hell! where did that come from? a classic, tone, =
riffs, sounds, arrangements and the ghost of hooky. that's two 'whole' =
songs so far
dark forces - has nice space, great drums, production, killer bass =
grooves and some welcome orchestration ( very slight hints of symphonic =
killing joke maybe in the future). vocals are original and interesting. =
epic tune almost =20
total invasion - wow! sad but true sample of the middle class college =
non comittal pseudo activist chicky. great vocals, great lyrics, very =
effective. this song is what pandemonium could have been with a =
youthless production. chorus has hints of classic geordie, ringing power =
riffs, minus the tone of course. sounds like geordie had a filter in the =
signal path very cool...an electric mistress maybe?,,,wah set to =
position? =20
the score so far: 5 killer songs, 2 gallant near misses &
1 complete tosser =20
