i'm sorry but that is horseshit! i'd have instantly recognised the new album 
as KILLING JOKE if played it not knowing beforehand. not sure what 
difference closing my eyes would make.

that's funny, because my gut reaction was "ohmygod why does jaz keep wasting 
his time with shit like 'oceania', 'doors concerto' etc when he could be 
doing more albums like this?

oh, that reminds me - i think 'daft horses' was originally intended to 
feature kennedy on violin. jaz mentioned on the bbc6 interview that there 
was one track he was gonna play on but it didn't happen (and they fell 
out!). would make sense, anyway, and explain why the strings on that track 
sound a bit underdone.
