7) Your biggest extravagance of the year?
visiting dirk and alex in NYC, but fortunately KJ were playing there 
at the same time

8) Your biggest hopes for 2004?
to make malicious damage a real record label again (and profitable)

9) What was the last album you bought,why, and how is it?:
teledubgnosis - magnetic learning center, it's ted parsons and 
friends and it's dubtastic (i swapped it for a t-shirt so it counts 
as buying)

10) Not including the new Killing Joke album, what were your top five 
favorite releases of the year?
i think this year has been pretty crap but here's four: teledubgnosis 
(see above), alabama 3 - power in the blood, black eyed peas - 
elephunk, jean grae - attack of the attacking things

11) What live bands have you seen recently. Did they rate?
don't get out too much these days but the last few were killing joke, 
manu dibango, blind boys of alabama and nils petter molvaer - all 
fantastic

12) Worst music you heard all year:
the darkness probably wasn't the worst but definitely the most overrated

13) If I find out that the person I'm talking to is a big fan of 
extreme right-wing politics, I lose all interest in talking to them

it's very good for us avid followers but i think any casual observers 
were lost the minute they tried to log onto kj.com

22) Regarding the Joke, despite all the rumormongering, I'd really

new management with a real passion for the music but also a major 
player with clout

23) Did you get to see Killing Joke on this tour? If so, briefly 
explain your reaction
yes and i enjoyed each gig as, to me, killing have always been better 
live, even with crap sound than anything they've ever recorded in the 
studio
