Hello all,
Just want to come in from the cold to make a few points.
First up Rudy, and welcome to EGO wars the game for all the family,
otherwise known as The Gathering a list for all things Killing Joke.
Enjoy it man, for as, has been said, there are a few gems of information
here from time to time.
I too am in total agreement to a point raised earlier, we get enough of
this shit from the media and important as it is, we (as humans at the
very least) should make a stand against tyranny of any kind and war, but
I for one would be happy if it was off list and the list was to only
have a test message once a month, than to have this so called thread
carry on (and not helped in anyway by a server fart, which meant I got
all mails 4 fecking times!), perhaps we can only hope for a cessation of
hostilities for the coming celebrations/holiday/or whatever the PC term
for Christmas is these days, and I mean that for both the
occupied/liberated war torn Iraq and The Gathering. I have found in
recent times the [OFF LIST] feature most helpful, you can actually mail
another leave a message and the whole world need not know what you
think, whether it be right wrong or just stupid.
Anyway I move on, yeah Alex in NYC, a poll, cool idea, I do remember a
previous one in which favourite albums was the topic and interesting
results there were (is that still out there somewhere by the way?), and
a new one would be cool. Would be willing to help collate or whatever if
help be needed, just ask.
And finally I'll take the opportunity to thank everyone over the past
couple of months for adding to what has been for me an unforgettable
year, both good and bad, but above all memorable if for only one thing,
KILLING JOKE got back together made an album and toured the fucking
world! Still cannot quiet believe it, but happen it did and fantastic it
was. So I wish each and every one of you a merry puddin' eating time
(mine starts Sunday with Solstice) and a peaceful and above all JOKE
filled 2004.
